Who we are

Guide to Harmony (g2h.dk) is operated by Cristina, its founder.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data transparently in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish legislation.

Our website address is https://g2h.dk. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at info@g2h.dk.

What personal data we collect and why

Newsletter and free resource signups

If you sign up to receive a free resource (such as our 72-Hour Preparedness Guide or the 7-Day Symptom Starter Log) or subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address and, where provided, your name. This data is processed by our email service provider, MailerLite, to deliver the resource you requested and any follow-up emails you’ve opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. See MailerLite’s own privacy policy at https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy for how they handle data on our behalf.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a cookie consent tool (iubenda) to ask for your permission before any non-essential cookie is set, in accordance with applicable EU and Danish data protection and ePrivacy requirements. You can change your cookie choices at any time via the cookie settings link in our site footer.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies, for your convenience on future comments. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Live chat

Our site uses Tidio to offer live chat support. If you use the chat widget, your messages and basic technical information (such as your browser and approximate location) are processed by Tidio on our behalf so we can respond to you. See Tidio’s privacy policy at https://www.tidio.com/privacy-policy for details.

Embedded content and outbound links

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos) or links to external websites, including Amazon product pages for books or other products we recommend. Some of these links may be affiliate links. If you purchase through such a link, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Who we share your data with

We share data only with the service providers named above (MailerLite for email delivery, Tidio for live chat, iubenda for cookie consent records) to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us. We do not sell your personal data. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee complete security, and we recommend using care when sharing sensitive information with us via email or contact forms.

International data transfers

Some of the service providers we use (including MailerLite and Tidio) may process your data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, to help ensure your data remains protected to a comparable standard as within the EU/EEA.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue. Email addresses collected via our newsletter/resource signups are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including your consent (for newsletters and optional cookies), the performance of a service you requested, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating and improving the website.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and, where applicable, request that it be transferred to another service provider.

If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@g2h.dk. We will respond to requests regarding your personal data within the time required by applicable law.
